OUTSTANDING Yesterday I visited this most amazing restaurant with my husband and 4 friends. What can I say other than we were served by absolutely outstanding staff and the food was exceptional as was the value!! We will definitely visit again when we are back in the area.

Evening at Marcos We had an very enjoyable Evening out with my family for my wife’s birthday at Marcos. All the staff are very nice and welcoming with great food and drink. We are definitely going to come here again!

Delicious Came here for lunch. Staff were warm and friendly and helpful when we had trouble reading menu (our fault, not theirs!). We all decided to opt for the selection of 3 dishes for £12. Plenty of gluten free options too. Food was warm and very tasty. What we hadn’t realised that the lunch option also came with a dessert. Bonus! We’ll definitely be back soon.

Lovely Lunch Have been to Marcos on a number of occasions and it never ceases to delight me in the friendliness of all the staff (whether old or new) and the lunchtime menu is yummy. Its great you can now choose to sit inside or outside and on this occasion as there was three of us and the sun was shining we decided to sit outside on a nice big round table with comfy chairs and under a big umbrella. We were not rushed at all at lunchtime as they are only open 12-3pm but thats plenty of time to enjoy a few drinks (if not driving) and a lovely meal, even a desert if wanted and coffee. Its also dog friendly so at a less busy time I think we may take our 2 little dogs there too. Marco’s are like a second family to my mum and they’ve worked their socks off over the last few years to keep the business going and have made such great changes and updates. Keep it up guys.

Can’t fault it. Superb!! Fantastic meal out for 4 of us. Turned up early expecting to quite happily sit at the bar but our table was ready. Under no pressure to order immediately. All the staff were polite and helpful, the restaurant itself wasn’t over powering and was lovely to be able to sit and talk with no overpowering music in the background. Cannot fault the food it was amazing, in taste, amount and variety. Will most definitely be returning.

Another tasty lunch Yet another 5 star lunch at Marcos. We had the lunchtime special and we were not dissappointed with the taste and flavours . The garlic bread is proper thick bread. The coconut prawns and spicy chicken had so much flavour accompanied by spicy potatoes, saffron rice and stuffed mushrooms. The lunch was completed with an almond tart which I think was homemade. Without doubt our favourite restaurant where you are always met and served with a smile from Marie and excellent dishes courtesy of Marcus and Bradley

Lunchtime birthday meal for four We had not visited Marco's for 18 months due to Covid. When booking we asked for a table in the garden and were pleasantly surprised to see all the new awnings, gazebos etc out there which make a spacious, airy dining area. The restaurant looks clean and the bathroom facilities are spotless and well equipped with sanitizers etc. The service was pleasant and attentive. We opted for the £12 lunchtime tapas menu with a couple of extra dishes from the main menu. The food was served in proper earthenware tapas dishes and arrived at the table piping hot. The selection on the "Lunchtime Special" was adequate and varied, but the full menu also gave a choice of a tapas portion or a full portion. All four of us enjoyed our choices and finished off with dessert and coffee. It was a leisurely lunch but we did not feel rushed or pressured. Overall a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
